The travel journey starts here…

I always dreamed of traveling the world! But, as we all know, a dream like that requires money and time. So if I wanted to travel, I decided I better get a job that allowed me to transfer worldwide.

I went to college right after high school. Although, I was considered an undeclared student for not selecting a major. I stopped attending because I wasn’t sure of my career and preferred to focus on my dream, so I started looking for big companies to work for that would help me pursue my dream.

I worked with big companies like FedEx, USPS, and Army Depot. With those kinds of salaries, you would think that it would be easy to fulfill my dream, But on the contrary, the jobs were very demanding of my time and stressful due to the nature of my positions. I felt trapped!

Inspiration

During the pandemic, I experienced an awakening. So much happened to me during that period that those stories alone could be a book. But, around 2020, I ran into a meme on Instagram that said…

“Your salary is the bribe they give you to forget your Dream.”

-Unknown

Reading that quote on that meme gave me some epiphany that I decided I no longer wanted a career job. Instead, I would rather have a part-time or temp job and become an entrepreneur to take off whenever I want to travel.

To be honest, I was scared at first. All sorts of fears popped up. How would I pay my bills or my health benefits? What if I fail? Then, I remembered that God provided us with our daily bread and that I was always provided with what I needed at the time of need.

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

(Matthew 6:11)

Honestly, it has been one of the best discussions I’ve ever had. Over the last three years, I’ve visited more places than I’d imagined in a short period of time. I even got the opportunity to see different countries.

“Faith without works is dead”

(James 2:26)

So, Get Ready for an adventure 🙂
