As individuals, we have the power to shape our own lives. Each of us is a reflection of the divine. Nevertheless, the outcome is subject to God’s will. It’s important to remember that setbacks or unexpected outcomes don’t equate to defeat. Embrace your life with a stronger belief in your faith than your anxieties, and your path will become clearer in time.
“Faith over Fears”
What is Faith?
I’m sure you hear people say, “Ohh, just have faith,” or “Put your faith in God.” But did anyone ever sit down and tell you what faith is? I’m sure no one ever defined faith for you unless you asked. So what is Faith?
“Now FAITH is the Substance of things HOPED for, the Evidence of things not seen.”
(Hebrews 11:1)
You probably read that sentence and said, “Okay, but what does that mean? At least if you didn’t, I know I had to read the dictionary and define most of the words in that sentence. So this is what I got.
Life is about faith expressed in love; whatever you want can be provided if you believe in God and the Word. To be a believer, you must believe in the things you can not see without question.
“For we walk by faith and not by sight.”
(2 Corinthians 5:7)
It is what it is!
Now I’m not saying to question the obvious. But, then again, why trick yourself and ask the obvious anyway? When things are apparent, you can see things for what they are!
For example, you can identify an apple tree based on the apples growing on the tree; You can identify a dog based on certain features like having four legs, a tail, and maybe even the sounds it makes. And the same goes for the energy of a human being.
Once your intellect has matured, you can identify things for what they are. Until then, trust your parents, guardians, or mentors. Your elder’s words and stories are testimonies and experiences.
Believing in something beyond ourselves and having confidence in the path set for us defines faith. It entails trusting that our wishes will be granted. Studying God’s word is essential to gain a deeper understanding and connection with Him. If you haven’t yet, now is the time to start. And, if this is new to you, I encourage you to buy a Bible study workbook. Here’s one you can start with “Strength in the Struggle: A Bible Study Workbook for Women on Letting Go of Fear and Anxiety.” Thats just one way to gain a deeper connection with God. However, there are plenty more like listening to Podcasts or even joining a fellowship group and etc.
Faith does not make things easy; it makes them possible
Luke 1:37
The Test
The questions I sat at the sunset cliff, Staring into the son's eyes. Can you show yourself to me? The reply, was Why? My eyes began to feel heavy, Like I was about to cry. I said, God, I want to believe, I just have to know Why. God’s Appearance Then a boat appeared, right in the middle of the ocean. And as the boat floated away, There was another thing floating. A man, standing on water. God, is that you? Could it be? The Drift Then, I began to wonder, Is the boat still near? Yes, the boat is right there! Waves everywhere, Feeling defeated, I closed my eyes. And there he was, Waiting by my side. The Answer Hearing a voice in my head, He said the fight is not dead. So, open your eyes. Remembering God, I began searching again. And, Would you believe it? He was still there.
God will NEVER leave you, nor FORSAKE you.
(Hebrews 13:5)
